Blood Management Beyond the Blood Bank
The BloodTrack OnDemand system operates with the following minimum computer hardware specifications:

BloodTrack Manager Computer (in the Blood Bank)

- 128 MB of RAM
- Barcode scanner (keyboard wedge)

BloodTrack Server Computer
- Windows 2000, XP, Server 2000 or Server 2003
- Pentium Processor 1 GHz or higher
- 10 GB free disk space
- 1 GB of RAM
- Universal power supply (UPS)
- Redundant hard drive, network port, power supply
HemoNine Refrigerator (Optional)
For added security, BloodTrack OnDemand has been developed to control the Angelantoni
HemoNine refrigerator. The HemoNine is a 9 drawer locking refrigerator. One drawer for each blood
group and one for crossmatched blood units. When a patient is identified, BloodTrack
OnDemand will unlock only the drawer containing blood of the type for that patient.
